Recently (once again) had fuel supply problems on my T870. Machine might start and run at low speed, might not.

This time it was 90-degree hard-plastic fitting above fuel tank which connects rubber hose inside fuel tank to rubber hose going to very back of motor.

The 90-degree hard-plastic fitting was partially clogged with gunk. We surmised gunk was combination of dust and diesel fuel wax.

A lot of possibilities were eliminated when we hung a two-gallon can of diesel fuel on back with electric diesel pump to feed into Bobcat built-on large diesel fuel canister next to fill spout.

Previously it was small Bobcat electric fuel pump which pumps diesel out of tank and into diesel fuel canister. On T870 its off to right of diesel fuel canister. Unless you install a diesel Pre-filter before Bobcat electric fuel pump, pump will fail with all sorts of material, from what looks like flakes of pepper to tiny grains of salt (sand?).
