Yes, I bled the fuel filter and the pump. I'm wondering if it's the lift pump.

you need to bleed thro to the injectors, many times I crack the line on the injectors

check your fuel lines for a vacuum leak, that will cause it to lose prime , was there a check valve in the system that might have gotten removed?

Someone the other day had a Kubota that they left the bleed screw open on the pump and had similar issues, if you replaced the fuel filter of course you double checked the gasket was intact on the old filter.
I never had a problem myself but did have a young mechanic come and ask me once when he serviced a Kubota engine when I walked up to the unit I noticed that the gasket was missing on the old fuel filter I asked him about it he found it on the engine, it would start then die reprime and start an die.

There wasn't a check valve on the old line but the kit I bought had one. I believe the old one is on the bottom of the tank.

I'm going to replace the fuel line from the tank to the squeeze bulb.

I checked the old gasket and it was there.

I'm going to replace the fuel line from the tank to the primer bulb

make sure to check that primer ball for cracks too. and those primer balls have a check valve inside of them too.

I replaced the fuel line from the elbow on the tank to the primer bulb. I also replaced the primer bulb. So everything is new from the pick up line inside the tank to the primer bulb and it stared right up and seems to be running fine. Thanks everyone for your input.
