Last week, I spent 8 hours blowing snow, ran the machine a 90% throttle, then put it away for the evening, the next morning there was a 5" puddle of oil on the ground directly uunder the valve cover drain/vent hose. THis has never happen before? any idea what is causing this? thanks R.

How many hours are on the engine? As the rings wear the blow by pressure in the crankcase increases and you start to get some oil out the breather tube. If the hours are low you may have a problem inside the valve cover. There's a filter element where the tube attaches that should catch the normal amount of oil mist and drain it back inside the cover.
