As an owner of a somewhat vintage Kubota V1902B 4 cylinder diesel with minor (mostly cosmetic) blow-by, I was wondering if replacing the existing passive crankcase ventilation tube with a PCV valve would help or hurt the old gal? I could easily return the vent at the rocker cover to the intake (via a PCV valve) through the air cleaner service indicator orifice.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

All i ever did was to plumb it back to the intake manifold. Any blow-by just gets burnt up. Most newer engines have this setup anyway, it can't hurt things.

With or without the PCV?
