Hi on my 2005 LS-170 starting up lights come on push lockout button and go aboat two feet the dash lights up and have to start all over some times power is gone no start . Had seat safty switches and wiring check ok . check wiring for bad spots none..

I'd take all of the ground connections you can find loose and clean them first.

Although if the dash ligts up when it stops I would think the seat belt switch loses connection, spray som contact cleaner in it and work it in and out a bit. When you start it and move the belt around, wiggle it and so forth does anythiing happen?

It must be a break in continuity , does the machine have the service/ run switch?
yes runs great in service switched but no bucket control

I doubt the problem is in the safety circuit. I would look at the ign switch or the green wire from the igition switch to the instrument panel. Look for a loose connection at the ignition switch.
If the problem was with the seat switch or seat belt switch the lights would not reset. Just unfasten your seat belt and lift off the seat. Only the seat belt light and parking brake light will illuminate. The result with a bad switch or seat harness would be the same.

I guess that does sound right, on mine if I start it in run then unbuckle the belt to connect a attachment the panel does not light up except the belt light.

Nice to hear it's going again, I would guess the belt was in excess of $250 though.
