    7775 Run / Service Switch??

Thanks Mike, Sounds simple enough. I tested the fuses with a test light, but maybe I was in service mode at the time, as some fuses had no power to either side, but those that did were all good. The customer had jumped the wires for the seatbelt switch with a piece of wire and alligator clips...

    7775 Run / Service Switch??

Trying to fix a customer's JD 7775, around 1997 model. He has broken the seat belt switch, removed and lost the parts...yay..he then jumped out the 2 wires to the seatbelt switch and had the machine running again, but pedals wouldn't unlock, so I got the call. I have a lot of Bobcat experience...

543 Wants to stall under load

Make sure that the engine stop lever is moving fully to the run when the cable is pushed down.

    2006 bobcat 553

Definitely sounds like the fuel solenoid is not working.....probably just some rust / binding of the linkage due to all the sitting.

Testing auxiliary control module on 853C

Be careful....some of the coils are only designed for 10 volts. Also the thumb switch is probably proportional control, not just on-off, which would change the resistance through the switch....sorry I don't have the specs but someone may have a service manual that shows the specs and maybe how...

    743 u joint greasing?

And after you have the engine in the position that makes greasing the least painful, mark the crank pulley and engine with a paint marker so next time you just line up the marks.....much easier for when you are working alone.

    Is there a trick?

The screw in the cap should be just to hold the cap together, not holding it to the filler neck. Most of the older machines had to have the chaincase oil pumped out to change it.

cab to rise up / tilt?

Yep, just lift it up after taking the 2 nuts off the front inside corners of the cab....if you say bolts, you may be taking off the wrong fasteners....and lift up the cab....sometimes they are 'stuck' in place from rust, but usually can be lifted by standing on the loader arm step and push up on...

Connect post pounder to Bobcat T300

The middle, smaller coupler is a case drain/return to tank, but probably not designed to handle the flow from the pounder setup. The other 2 larger couplers are both standard and high flow( if you have the option). The flow to these couplers is reversible( by using the thumb switch on the right...

    Bobcat T320 track came off

Loose the 2 covers along the track frame and slide them out of the way. Release the grease from the adjustment cylinder, pry the front idler back as far as possible, block the back of the machine and lift the machine off the ground with the bucket. Then work the track back on with a couple of...

    873 seat bar switch

Check that the bolts that hold the pivots for the seatbar are tight. If they are loose, the sensor magnet can bounce away from the sensor.

    763 wiper motor ?

When I was working at a Bobcat dealer, up until about 7 years ago, the parts department stocked the shaft for the wiper motor. If the motor was still good but the shaft was stripped, it was a much cheaper fix. I believe that the shafts were all the same, until the change to the arm that is held...

    843 Injector Lines

I've never heard of lines breaking like that, either. Maybe your relative ran out of fuel and broke the lines trying to bleed them???

how to release tires on Bobcat 975

I think that the 975 had tow valves, somewhere along the drive motor lines, that allows fluid to pass through the drive motors and the machine can be rolled. Maybe someone here has a manual for the 975, but it is a rare model. If you can't find the tow valves, you can do like Tazza suggests and...

That must be the jack for tilting the cab safely.
