electrical switches

I lifted the cab on my 853 to degrease and find a hydro leak when I saw a wire disconnected from a electrical switch,( there are 2 of them, 1 located on each hydrulic steering piston. Does anyone know what they do? I took some pics if my discription is bad. Newbie Brian

If those two switches have little rollers on the ends they are your reverse alarm switches. Sometime folks disconnect them because they are annoyed by the beeping. Sometimes they just come loose on their own.
