If you disassemble the throttle control you should find a fiber washer and a few springs, maybe something is missing or broken. sometimes you can just tighten the allen bolts for better tension, try that first if you haven't yet.The orange throttle lever can be tightened up. I can't remember exactly whats inside there but you can tighten it up to fix that problem! Just don't use something like silicone grease in there, or you will be back to square one. Its been a few months since i had one of them off a machine so i can't tell you the specifics, sorry.

It could be as simple as tightening up on the 2 allen headed screws on the lever till it holds , or maybe the 3 steel wavey springs could be rusted out , how deep you have to go depends on if you can get the two allen bolts to unscrew out the plastic lever with out stripping the plastic where the nut inserts , if that happens you need to get a new plastic lever ---------I find if the parts are very rusty that it is better to take the time and grind it flat and paint it as the heavy rust pits affect the performance and will shorten it's life by promoting more rustThanks guys i'll give that a shot.........thanks for the quick replies!!!!

Hi I have a simular issue but its the throttle on the egine. Its keeps pushing over to stop and the "!" is on by the key switch and dummy lights. I don't think my issue is the orange lever. The BOBCAT 763G won't start so I hooked up a bungee cord to keep it from going to the stop position. I have not checked any fuses yet. But I didn't find anyhting in my book where it tells me what the "!" is for? Any thoughts?Thanks...I'll go order those parts today.....!!! Thanks everyone.
Maybe the ball-end backed out where it screws into the solenoid for engine stop, or solenoid could be binding up. When you first turn on the key does the solenoid pull the lever over? (probably need 2 people to check this) If it pulls and doesn't hold the solenoid is probably bad, but check the fuses first, Can't remember if there's an inline fuse near the solenoid but there is the panel behind your legs when in the seat with fuses and relays....also try swapping the relay......Just a few ideas to tryHi I have a simular issue but its the throttle on the egine. Its detecting a fault, i have no idea what the ! is though.... I still need to get a manual for my 753G. I just recently purchased a 773G having the same throttle fault. Decided to Google it and found this forum.. Great forum but find having to use Netscape instead of Safari a nuisance. Anyways, mrfixitpaul and Fishfiles was dead on with correction for fault.
