hi my name is martin iam trying to wire in a simple 2 wire beacon/strobe light in m 2006 Bobcat S-175. i have the switch for a beacon/strobe on the panel the left of the operators shoulder ive pulled out the assembly and found 3 wires attatched to the switch, now do i splice into one for power to my strobe and ground the stobe to the frame or is there a place where there is a oem clip/harness/plug for the strobe. Thanks!

If I understand your post right, it sounds like you have the delux cab harness, the machine is prewired for a strobe kit. There is a plug behind the cneter of the dash that should be marked strobe and there is another plug in the left rear corner of the cab for the light.

thank you thank you thank you for the quick reply! so in the front panel i have 2 switches in place one red switch for parking brake, another for transferring between hand and foot controls. in terms of plugs behind that i have one labelled power bobtach(unused) and one for brake lights(unused) then i have two unlabelled plugs one with 3 pink wires and a black, then another with 2 pinks and a red. the plug in the rear lefthand corner of the cab that you said is for the strobe has 3 pinks and a black so safe assumption says they are the same, now which wires do i tap into as they are all pink, or do you know what function of each wire? or will i have to power probe those!=?
