Paint is coming along nicely now that the mechanics are sorted. Although I haven't tested it yet (per your recommendations). I have one side stripped using aluminum oxide, which is pretty expensive, so I'll be sorting to straight sand (using high micron breathing mask and goggles) for the rest of the job.
