I found a quick and easy storage box for G series machines in case anyone is interested. I had a Harbor Freight 30mm ammo box laying around so I went to see if I could use it for a storage box in my bobcat. To my surprise, it fit perfectly. All I had to do was line up the box with a factory hole on the cab, mark the hole on the box and drill a 1/4" hole in the plastic box. Then use a 1/4" carriage bolt thru the cab into the box. The box size is a perfect fit. And we all know there is a lack of space in our machines for a few hand tools.

A little update: If anyone uses this hack, dont do what I did. That's forgetting to close the box lid before putting the lap bar down, the lap bar wins. I had to go to Harbor Freight to buy another box. Thankfully they were on sale for $3.99

It would be harder to get into, but if you install it the other way around the lap bar would shut it instead of breaking it.

I wrestled with that idea before I put it in. But naturally I gave myself too much credit for paying attention. Maybe when I break this one I will install the next one in the opposite direction. They're cheap enough
