The size is correct and they came off of a 873 which is what I have so I am going to pick them up. I was just concerned about them being hard on wheel bearings or axles.
I found a set of loegering tracks and spacers. They are used but the pins aren’t worn much and they look to be in really good shape. The guy wants 1000 for them. Is that a good price? Is there anything I should look for before I buy? The other question is are these hard on a machine? I’ve seen...
I noticed today while running the brush cutter that when turning the machine even the slightest turn I hear a whining sound. It doesn’t do it all the time but most of the time. After I finished cutting I put the grapple on to move some brush and never heard the whining again. I checked the fluid...
Found my oil leak. It is the small pipe going from the turbo to the oil pan. Has 2 O rings and the one on the bottom was gone. Put a O ring on it and it has stopped
I have. 2000 873 G with 3100 hrs. I have kept the machine maintained and keep it pretty clean. I have noticed a little oil leak but it has not been bad. This evening I loaded it heading home and noticed when I got home that there was a decent amount on the trailer floor. It seem to be running...
The seal really didn't look that bad. I was kind of surprised when I got the hub off and it looked so good. Is there any concern about heating it with the bearing right there? I guess it had a rough life before me since it had a speedy sleeve on it. I know this is the 3rd seal since I've owned...
Finally got the seal fixed. It was a bear getting the hub off. But, here is what I noticed. There was already a speedy sleeve in the axle. I rubbed it and could not feel anything that would make me think it would cause a leak. So after I cleaned everything, I installed the new seal and put back...
Thank you for your replies and help. I will get the parts this week and probably tear into it. I am going to look for some information on the speedy sleeve and probably go that route. My only other question is could it be a bearing issue causing the seal to fail?
Thank you. This is the second one on that axle in 4 years. So should I do the speedy sleeve? If so how hard is that to do and where can I get one? Thanks again guys
I can hear the sensor release when I hit the brake switch like it is working but it never locks the machine up. I can even move the machine without hitting the green button after lowering the lap bar but cannot move the bucket.
Got in my machine today to unload it and when I got it off the trailer and put the brake on it just kept rolling. It’s like the brake is not locking. What could cause this? Thanks Mike
