on my 330 it was just an easy tap out with a dowel after removing the retaining bolts. Is it possible someone snuck in a roller pin of some sort to act as a spacer for a smaller diameter bolt than what should be used?

Got the job done Sat. It was actuaaly a very easy fix. It took me more time to make the right "tool" to install it than to do the job. I used a piece of PVC with a joining collar. The redi sleeve fit perfectly in side the collar with just a little play. It was easy to tap the sleeve into place...

Just wondering if anyone out there has ever used an easy sleeve to repair a shaft sealing surface. Was it an easy process? How well has it held up? Any advice would be appreciated.

I was just at a NAPA store and they were also telling me about a speedi sleeve. I had they axle with and they thought it was a good fix. Has anyone ever worked with these?

Is it possible that the arm where the linkage attaches to the got flipped from the top to the bottom (or vice versa) so it is actually going counter to what it should? Just thinking about my 330 without looking at it, I think this could happen. Otherwise, good luck!
