Hello, My 753 has no power in when pulling the right stick back. I have adjusted all the linkage and even replace bushings in linkage. I can see it rotating the Hydro shafts when cab is up, so not slipping on shafts. only does this on the right side, and moving lever forward seems fine. Can this be a filter problem, or more likely drive motor? where is the right drive motor located? Any help would be appreciated.. Thanks Jeff

Most likely a drive motor, look at the top of the page on my 751 post. 751 and 751s are pretty much identical, same part number for drive motors i believe. i had both of my drive motors rebuilt and it solved the problem. I could be a sticking shuttle valve. If you want to test them for sure remove the plate on the right side of the machine with 4 bolts. its between the wheels. you will probably have to remove the rear wheel as well. You can undo the hydraulic lines (mine were 45 degree) and very hard to get to on the right. It takes a 1 3/8" wrench to fit the large lines. you can buy a set of caps for about $15 to cap the lines off. Then turn the machine on and pull/push the right stick. it should want to stall the motor. It will feel/sound identical to your left stick with the traction lock on. If when you pull the stick back it doesnt bog the machine down the problem lies in your hydrostatic pump. I would say 99% its your drive motor from my experience. You can try to replace the case drain filter but i did that and it didnt help. usually it will overfill your chaincase if that's the problem.

Thanks Shawn, I was ready to pull the trigger on a rebuilt drive motor, but the guy at the pump shop said sounds like "relief valve sticking in your hydro-stat" and it was easy to tell if if is that by swaping them (left to right) and seeing if problem moves to other side. Do you have experience with that? I would certainly like to try that before purchasing a new drive motor. Not sure where the relief valves are even at.

You can swap drive motors from side to side to see if its a motor or not too.
The relief valves are both top and bottom of the pump. I don't know what one does what though. Knowing your luck, it will be the one underneath. If you look at the pump, you will see round bolt looking things with allen heads, but they are about 3/4" round. They will be screwed into the middle part of the pump where the steering levers go. There are two on one side, two on the opposite side. One for each large hose coming out of the pump.
A bad drive motor seal could be the cause. Don't buy a new one before opening it up and inspecting it.
