I am working on a bobcat 753 i have rebuilt the steering but the right side of the hydrostatic pump doesn't want to move forward is it something in the pump itself or is it something on the steering I did wrong?

Are you saying the joystick doesn't move forward?or are you saying the joystick moves fwd, but the right side drive motor doesn't respond?

I would try disconnecting the control arm at the pump to rule out bound up linkage.

How was it working before you worked on the steering?

It wouldn't make a left hand turn except for jerking so I thought it was the bushing and all wore out which they were wore out

I just got home and disconnected the steering linkage and the steering pintle will not move in the forwards position it feels like it is hitting something

Do you try it when the machine is running? With the machine on jack stands?

Yes i did. Everything I've read in the service manual is telling me it's something in the hydrostatic pump. Is there another way to get the hydrostatic pump out without pulling motor and all

It is very hard if not even impossible without the engine pull.
