WOW never thought they could fetch that much, i got 3 of them, 1 worked the other 2 had no engines for like $15. I scraped the non working ones and kept the good one. They come up every so often and always go cheap as.

Just curious, what would you need a drill like that for on Heavy Equipment?

It can be used to drill, bore or line bore in the field where no electric is available.
Lucky I knew a fella that had a magnetic drill, nothing else would have worked when I needed to drill horizontal, when looking to buy one, I found out real fast there not cheap. even used ones.

I bought my mag-drill for $100 from a shop that thought it was broken. I downloaded the parts manual from the manufacturer and found they had just lost the gibs for the guide ways, which caused it to flop around like it was broke. $20 for the parts and I had a $1500 variable speed, hi/lo gear, reversing drill.

Very good find! i'll give ya $150 for it :)
If i ever need a mag drill i think i'd just hire one, i couldn't justify spending that much on a drill i can't see myself using that often. Would be a nice addition but i could spend the $1500 elsewhere.
