863(Duetz) throws rod after head replacement

I have a low hour 863. Under 1000 hrs and know the previous owner. We replaced the head recently after damaging a glow plug hole. Had the new head reworked completely. Soon after getting it running it threw a rod (hole in the block now). I should mention it had two timing belts replaced in its life both times it got the fiber head gasket and new push rods. It also blew a head gasket at 750 hours. Both timing belts failed belts and the head gasket was also a failure. Did those events damage the rod that broke.

Your timing was off most likely, that was the cause for all the failure. If these Deutz are not timed correctly they get angry.
