I will be posting what I can when I can. First things first I misspelled my user name where can I or who can rectify my mistake. I am still gathering evidence on the correct hydraulic fluid/oil for a tier 4f c332. Will post when I get it (even the operator's manuals are contradictory). Does anyone know where the hydraulic strainer filter goes? I know that it is in one of the metalic hydraulic lines and approximately where it is (from the parts manual but I can not find reference to it in service or operator's manual).

Welcome to the world of no one has made a youtube of it yet. I agree that the information in the service manual is obtuse for the strainer filter. I have not called the dealer to inquire where exactly the filter is located. I am convinced that it is in the pickup line somewhere between the reservoir tank and the hydraulic pump. If you have a video endoscope you can trace the piping from the tank take pictures or video then compare those to the woeful pictures in the service manual and parts manual and make an educated guess. When you think you have found it take some pictures and send it to your dealers service manager for confirmation. To highlight how poor the 51522201 service manual is there are no word matches for "strainer" or "hydraulic strainer". My parts manual manual tier4f (not an official NHC purchase) implies that the "strainer is in in the line and appears to be in the engine compartment. See attached screenshot. When I clean my strainer I will post a Youtube of the process.
