I recently changed my password on my skidsteer and after it setting for a couple months, I went to start it and I keep getting password error... I'm sure I may have forgotten new password but I didn't forget my old one. When I put that in,same code password error. I did notice it was throwing a low voltage code... would the low voltage keep it from registering the number? Also my buddy took his key system of his,and my computer off mine, and his started w my computer screen, but mine wouldn't Start w his key. When he changed then back, his key wouldn't start his anymore and my screen only allowed him ten minutes!! I called bobcat, and their only answer is to bring my skidsteer up there. My whole point is i can't even get it started for 10 minutes to load on a trailer. Anyone have any idea on what I can do? I moving out of my warehouse and all my stuff has to be gone by Sunday evening or it's going to get towed and I'm kinda strapped on money right now. Thanks in advance

Not since I bought a new battery. I have tried jumping the starter. It spins but doesn't engage. I've read where a lot of people either bought or had theirs rebuilt and still had same issue so I'm not messing w starter just yet.... would low voltage cause the keyless panel to not even be able to register the code when put in?

If your battery is bad it may not have the power to engage the starter.

Low voltage does strange things in all of these machines.
Just having a loose cable or dirty battery terminals will cause all sorts of codes to come up.

Does the machine have any codes?

Battery is brand new...I checked some of the grounds and cleaned them earlier today. I'm going to try again Tom to get it started

Make sure to check your fuses.

Also, I'm not sure if when you switched out panels with another machine it may have messed with the computer. Some of the computer panels have to be programmed for each specific machine.

Probably a dumb suggestion but did you fully charge the new battery when installed? I don't typically get them fully charged new. Might want to put a voltmeter on to check for sure. Also useful for checking if any fuses are blown. Just a suggestion. Good luck!
