Bobcat 763 owner needing help

I have a Bobcat 763G that is in need of electrical repair. Seems that fuel solenoid will pull but will not hold. Have checked everything, wires, fuses, connections, relays. Still no power to hold wire at solenoid. Can't seem to find threads that address this problem. Thanks in advance for any help

Had a New Holland that would up and die after starting, replaced the fuel solenoid and relay from a working unit, checked wiring and fuses, one evening as it was getting dark I still had about 10 minutes left before punch out, I jumped in the unit and fired it up, and caught a flash of light in the fuse panel and the unit died, I restarted it a couple of times and watched it do over and over, replaced the fuse and put it back in service, I cut the plastic off the ATC 5 amp fuse and it was cracked down in the bend, I guess it had just enough resistance to heat a little and open the crack enough to break contact, then close and test good.

that is kinda like looking for bad spark plug wires in the dark, you will see the voltage dancing over the weak spots in the insulation of a bad wire with the lights out. moreso if it is foggy or just damp.

Ugh, electrical issues can be such a pain. The tip about checking the fuses is really good—I learned something new, tks!

Today I would just replace a fuse hoping to take it out of the equation, I have gotten a bad one before, but I had never seen one that cracked and didn't blow.

I wonder if it has a oil pressure switch in that circuit, seems to me that the light towers that had Kubota engines had one.

Could be a bad fuel solenoid timer wiring harness.

I have a 763c. I had issues with my fuel solenoid shut off. It ended up being the battery. If the battery didn't have enough juice it would not engage the fuel solenoid on startup. I would have to get out of the machine go back and pull the fuel solenoid to the proper position to get the engine to start. That led to me finding out the root cause of the fuel solenoid problem I have which I can't figure out. If I leave the key in the machine, and it is turned off, it still draws current from somewhere and drains the battery. I found a it easier to remember to take the key out then try to trace the current drain problem. Good luck
