hydrostatic repair

I have an older 520. I need the hydrostatic pump repaired does anyone have a ball park figure on what it should cost. Is this something that I could repair myself. One more thing is it called a pump,drive,transmission,motor....

Never had to work on a 520 but when you say hydrostatic , it makes me think it's the same as all the other Bobcats , I call it a Sunstrand pump , as far as cost , on a 7 series you could sink $2500 up on a pump job , as far as doing it yourself , if you never done it before , it's a lot of time and part money that could be wasted on crank up if you don't get it right
