I have a 763 Skidsteer and 1 side of the Bob Tach plate is out of round. I have a new bushing for it, usually that just sits in there and holds the pins that attach to the loader arms. My question is should I weld the new bushing in place to keep if from moving around? Any other ideas? I have included a picture of the out of round side and the other side where the bushing went in OK.

The bushing usually doesn't move in any machine part like this. A proper repair would be replacing that through "pipe" with a properly sized one. I suggest to ream it to the first size where the hole is correctly round and find a different o.d. bushing with the correct inner size and loctite cylindrical fixing fluid the new one into place. The thin steel/lead/brass bushing might not be available in different outside diameters. Try a solid brass one if it's available in the usable dimensions. Try not to get a "sintered oil" bushing. If there's a grease fitting, make sure the grease is getting thru there. Probably the grease may be put in thru the pins. Good luck.
