GEHL 3610 Fuel in oil and exhaust.

I have a 1987 Gehl 3610, and was just starting to use it the other day and it started smoking through the exhaust and running rough. I shut it down thinking it was spewing oil. I believe it's actually fuel and I pulled the dipstick and it smelled like diesel. It has the Isuzu engine, where to start? Head / Fuel Pump?

I am not famulair with that engine but if it has a engine powered lift pump it could be the fuel pump diaphram with a small hole in it.
