I have owned a Ford CL340 V4 for 18 trouble free yrs. Paid $1000 for it in 2000. Best investment Ive ever made. Still runs but I just picked up a second one, even nicer, but the wisconsin is gone. I want to rebuild it, and since a V4 is impossible to find and a wisconsin not much easier, Ive heard that the mid '80s bronco V6 2.8, mustang is the same Cologne engine. Can anyone verify the rear mounting plate for the hydraulic pump and the crank to pump adaptor is the same as the V4? Im not worried about stretching the chassis or the liquid cool issues, I want to make sure I can get the pump mounted to the motor. Any suggestions, thought, advice, ect? Thank you
