Ford 340- considering purchase- pros/cons?

It is $800. no bucket. Engine out but ready to go back in. a used replacement WI-4. all there. Is it even worth the hassle? I read they buck bad? parts very hard to find? any input appreciated.

1816case I just bought one for $3000 delivered non running. I found a shop out of South Dakota that is very knowledgeable and has almost every part you would need to fix.
