E55 extendable arm with hammer

I am looking at purchasing an e55 with an extendable arm. I plan to do mostly digging. But I do use a demolition hammer on an excavator from time to time. The dealer has told me that the hammer will work but I need to install a pin on the extendable boom. They don't recommend the hammer with the extendable arm for long periods of time but it will work, so they say. I am looking to get advice on using a demolition hammer with an extendable arm excavator. Thank you.

I would think as long as you keep the arm retracted and use limited, I'd think you would be fine.
