I have a 763 with the Elec. Security Start. Today it is completely dead. No relays click, no starter activation, etc.. The only thing working is the dome light. The Batt. is good, The starter was replaced this spring. All fuses are good. I do have 12v to the Elec. control module but nothing comes on.. Last ran about two weeks ago. Anyone have any thoughts?

It could be a problem with your main power fuse, as you said the fuse is ok, what about the connector? some times they do get corroded, even check your main power relay.

If it were the Main fuse or related connectors would I still have power at the control panel? I do have 12v on the red lead at the connector going into the back of that panel.

I would check all the connectors going to that panel and make sure all the grounds are clean...my knowledge of the later machines is limited but check the easy stuff first......good luck....Jeff

If you have lost main power it has to be a connection, fuse or relay.
I just don't know where to start to trace a problem like that though. I agree that grounds are a good place to start.

Now I'm beginning to pull my hair out... I've checked the harness for any shorts and found none, I've run an amp ckeck and there is no loss/shorts, I've re checked all fuses, and this time even checked to confirm power to the fuses. With the Exception of a fuse marked "alt/kits" and one marked "attachments", all fuses are hot (unknown if they should be) There is 12v to both the right and left panels. Everything however is still dead. If the computer/controller, or the right panel with the yellow "activation" button that powers up the system were to go bad, would it cause this type of situation?

I think it is the controller , or left or right console , and there isn't much you can do except what it sounds like you alreadt did , recently seen this exact senerio , had the dealer out with his computor and after hooking into the machine he started it thru his computor and said the right console was ok since it started , he swopped the left console with a new one and that fixed it , he said if that would not have fixed it would have been the controller , you can not return electrical parts around here , don't know how it is by you , so swopping parts is expensive
