Hi All. Been lurking for some time but this may be my first post. We have a couple 2006 CT322s in lanscaping business use. Low hours, around 1500 and 1150. Traditional hand and foot pedal controls. It used to be possible to start and then exit the machines with the parking brake switch activated or to be working then stop, activate parking brake switch and then release seat belt and exit the machine and it remain running. About a year ago, one machine began to stall every time the seat belt was released and now they both do it. Local Deere dealers in opposite directions over an hour away are equally unhelpful by phone and in person (suggest start replacing parts). I finally installed a new parking brake switch in one machine today and no change. Machine has a 2-wire seat cushion switch, 2-wire seat belt switch both presumed good because will not start with either unengaged. The operators are in and out of these a lot and I'm hating all the extra start cycles. Anybody have experience with this problem?

If the switch doesn't fix it, I am thinking a broken wire or a corroded connection some where.
Electrical problems are a pain....

It could be in your aux hydraulic circuit, try pushing the hydraulic bypass button before you exit the machine, if it stays running it is probably the centering switch in the valve body. If it Don't see it in the center it will shut down.

lfutrell I believe you called it. The Hyd Bypass switch allows us to unbuckle and exit the machine without killing the engine. I'll check the valve body centering switch as soon as I get the machine back at the shop for a day or two. Thank you for your help

Did you ever get this going?

Thank you for your interest in helping diagnose this problem. I'm afraid I have not yet had opportunity to check the centering switch on the aux circuit. The season is in full swing and the machine is out and busy but due for a service soon so maybe then. I'll try to remember to post my findings as soon as I know something definite.
