you need to make sure your seat switch is being activated as well as your seat belt switch.
Check the safety switches. A good test for the seat switch is: Get in the machine with the key off. Did the display lights and guages come on? If not you have a problem with the seat switch. It is in the bottom cushion.
There is also a simple test for the seat belt switch. Look at the monitor before you plug in your seatbelt. The seatbelt light should be on. Once you connect your seatbelt the light should go off. If not you have found your problem.
Any codes?
Write down any codes that appear in the system for your records. Press "SELECT" to scroll through the codes until "END" appears on the display. Press "SELECT" again, "WAIT" will be displayed on the screen. Hold "SELECT" for 5 seconds to clear all John Deere diagnostic codes from the system.
Default unlock codes-3 tries then need to turn key off/on to start again
