I have a 2004 s250 with enclosed cab and heat and air. My blower motor and A/C swith with indicator light just quit working all the sudden. I checked the fuse and its ok. I wondered if someone has had this problem or could tell me how to troubleshoot and where to start. I am also having trouble with raising the cab. I took the 2- nuts off like I have done on all of my open cab machine but something is still holding it from raising all the way . Please Help!! Thanks, Greg

The only things holding the cab closed are the two nuts in the corners. As for the blower motor, check for power at the motor, if there's power there, check for power at the switch. Are you sure you checked the proper fuse? That should be a fairly uncomplicated circuit.

Thanks so much. Yes I checked the fuse but will do what you stated. Are you positive that on an enclosed cab machine that there are no a/c lines or any other fittings or objects that need to be unhooked or loosened for the cab to roll all the way back. I have owned lots of Bobcats and have never had any trouble rolling the cab. Thanks so much for your response. I do very much appreciate it!!

if the assist shock that helps raise the cab is bad it will take quite a bit of effort to raise the cab. Having an enclosed cab makes it even worse. My shock is bad and I remove the cab door and slide the windows back and that make lifting the cab tons easier. You could have numerous things wrong with you HVAC system. Maybe it is just the switch or maybe it is something to do with wiring or it could be like mine and the blower motor just gave up the ghost. However, when the blower motor went on mine the fuse blew.

I had real trouble lifting the cab on my T180. Not sure how long it had been since it was up. The lines and the bottom of the cab stuck to the insulating foam. Nearly had to use a crowbar to get it loose the first time. :) ---RC
