I posted a few months ago on my S250 with lift arm settling issues. I tore into it, and found the control valve scored and ended up replacing the entire control valve with a new one from Bobcat., to the tune of $4000. Got it back together and my settling issue is fixed..... Now however, there is constant pressure to the lower (male) aux port. Lift will lift whether I am commanding it to lift or lower. Tilt doesn't work. There is strain on the machine like hydraulic is dead headed. If I move the aux switch left, strain goes away, lift and tilt functions work normally. unplugging aux solenoids did not make the strain go away, or restore lift / tilt functions. I figured I had a stuck solenoid at that point and replaced both of them. No change. I left the rear aux spool cap loose and started it up briefly. Obviously there was a leak, but the strain was gone, and everything functioned normal then also. I figured that showed me there was pilot pressure to the back of the spool (when there obviously shouldn't be). I have the old valve on the bench for demonstration / dissection, and I can't see where this thing would be getting pressure if not from a stuck solenoid. The only thing I can figure is I got a bad valve from Bobcat? I don't know what else it could be, am I missing something?
