I have put all new 303 hydro trans fluid and both filters in my L553. This is the first batch since the fire. It looks like gray snot so after 1 more new hose , im going to change it again. Is there a tried and true way to get all the gross old fluid out before i invest another 200.00 in new fluid and filters? how can i get everything out of the hoses and pumps in addition to the tanks? Lastly, whats the best bang for the buck as for new fluid? Im in Maine, very cold winters. Im paying $28/5 gal pail for 303. It uses about 4 pails. what are some viable options? Thanks in Advance.

There really is no way to get it all out short of pulling the pump and rams off to purge the oil. The best you can really do is drain all you can, then remove the lift and tilt cylinder lines, cycle them to get all the oil you possibly can out, then re-fill. Your pumps and motors will still be full as will the hydraulic hoses and lines.
Its really the only thing you can do short of stripping it down.
