I am trying to figure out where you fill the gearbox oil at. From the pictures that I've seen of other New Hollands and even in the service manual it shows a sweeping elbow at the bump out. I found what seems like the drain plug, as it is at the very bottom the gear box and started dumping oil when I opened it. I tried refilling from the drain plug but it isn't taking any oil, it just dumps.

Should I tap the bump out?
Should I unscrew the pressure release valve and fill it with a quart there?

Here is a link to a video from FarmCraft101 working on his New Holland LX565 gearboxes and he has the elbow.

Some models didn't have a fill, it got oil from the chain case. Not sure what models, they had a trough in the chaincase that would catch the oil off the chain and funnel to the gearbox. I would fill it thru the breather, the excess will just go to the chaincase.
