I'm working on a 773G for a somebody, and from what I gather it will stall after about 10-15 minutes of operating, I'm not sure what happens besides it stalls. I operated it for a little shy of 20 minutes and it stalled, almost like it ran out of fuel, but it didn't run rough, it just slowly stalled out, I have changed the fuel filter, but with no manual I'm not quite sure as what to check. I also notice than when you go into a bank/pile or stone it will almost stall out, if you let off the controls it takes almost 15+ seconds for the machine to come back up to high idle. It almost seems to me that the hydraulic pump is trying to pump max flow, or the fuel pump is tired. Again I know next to nothing about this machine besides it appears to be extremely low low hours, somebody wrote on the filters, which all have dates of 2006; 223 which I could only assume means hours, but the gauge says 43, unless I'm not reading it correctly. i'm not familiar with skidsteers very much, but equipment and engines isn't a problem... After the machine "stalls" out, I shut the key off and started it right back up, no issues, I also noticed running it that if the drive controls are in full forwards/reverse the machine almost bogs out, if I let up quickly it will eventually return to high idle, slowly. could the fuel pump not be supplying sufficient fuel? Also there are 2 codes in the machine, 33-23 and 18-07. the machine only gets extremely light use with just the bucket, no attachments. sorry for not providing too much information, it's just hard when I don't know anything about the machine, just learning all of this second hand, not from the guy who uses it, he's a vacationer and isn't around much... Thanks for any help, the guy just wants to be able to use the machine and not have it stall out.

The codes are 33-23 Bobcat controller not programmed, 18-07 Spool lock coil open circuit.
The controller not programmed would explain the hours being out of sinc. Someone replaced the controller and didn't have the dealer program it for the machine serial number, options and hours.

sorry for the long delay in replying, I guess this will just have to be a dealer fix, or the guy can deal with the problem, some of the problem could be operator error too, I've never watched the guy use it... Thanks

Check your fuel quality,i have seen units stall have poor power with a certain amount of gas in diesel fuel.

Try removing the fuel cap and see if it still stalls, it may have the vent plugged up.

Thanks I didn't think about the fuel cap. I guess I could run the machine and than take the cap off and check for vacuum in the tank too... The fuel smells good, I know that's not a good test... I will drain some out and check. Thanks for the help
