Bobcat 873 stalling out

Working on a buddies 873, machine runs and operates great. Possible issue I'm seeing is when you're pushing hard into dirt the drive hydraulics can stall the engine out if you don't ease up. The machine has tracks over the tires so I'm sure that's not helping. I wasn't sure if this was standard on these old machines because my newer JD just opens the pressure relief when you stall the tracks and that keeps the engine from dying/stalling. There's no engine issues, I'm just not sure if this machine has a relief valve that needs replaced/adjusted.

It should have a relief valve.
