773 head bolts

Ok i pulled the head off my kobota in the machine. It was a blown head gasket. my questions now are what are the tourqe specs for the head bolts and what if any type of gasket sealer can i or should i use. thanks guys. i did order a shop manual for this toy so i dont have to bug every one in the future with the simple things

The shop manual should cover the torque values / specs & the proper sequence as well.

Yes I know the manual will, but delivery on it is sometime next week thought I would get a go on it this weekend. thanks anyhow.

No sealing compound is needed. Specs should be covered by the scans on my home page:

prior to reassembly send head out to head guy. he will clean check deck and lap valves. its about 125$

and he will have torque tables. he will also put a tell tale on it ( a button that pops. if overheat.)
