I keep breaking belts, got a year out of the last one, this one lasted 2 months. There are no strange wear marks or nicks, the belt is simply breaking. They are from Bobcat, not aftermarket. Perhaps tensioner too tight or too loose ?

Outside of dry rot and age, the tensionor is almost always the cause of belt failure. They can be rebuilt, but I always replaced. Not cheap at $400. Set the tensionor to propper spec and recheck after an initial test run.
