So what is everyone's opinion on how many hours before changing drive belt. I have a 2004 T-300 with 2900 hard hours?

Bobcat just suggests inspecting it every 50 hrs.

You need to look for any wear or cracking.

Your machine is due for its 3000 hr service. I would replace it then unless you have proof that it has been changed before. If the old belt is still in ok condition you can hang onto it as an emergency belt.

Keep an eye on the new belt also. Inspect it often at first then just every 50 hrs. I know of brand new Bobcat brand belts that have broken not long after installation. Not sure if it was a flaw in the belt, it got damaged during installation, or if something happened during operation.
