641, 642,643 manuals

Help Support SkidSteer Forum:

First post but doubt it will be my last. Any help on this old 643 will be much appreciated. I'll post some info about us shortly.

Hello ZekeSkyree, I'm new owner of 641 bobby. Happen you to have user manual for it? I already downloaded the service material that you posted in this thread. Many thanks before hand anyway!

I need a manual for a bobcat 641 my mechanic is running around in circles buying stuff I don't so please if have let me know what I need to do to get it

Best of luck. I spent most of last year bringing my 642 back from the dead. All I have left is the wiring harness and it'll be good as new...
ZekeSkyree, I rebuilt my 4G32 engine in an 642B and now can't get it to pop off or continue to run. Set timing, fuel in carburetor, good spark. Also, I put a Pertronix 1941 set in and it burnt out due to conflicting directions. It states to not have resistor in one spot and to incorporate resistor on the graphics. Appreciate your insights. Great content.

Not familiar with the Mitsubishi motor, but i would start with basics since it was just rebuilt. Check compression, then verify firing order and distributor rotation. If you have good spark, compression and verified timing/firing order, give it a bit of starting fluid and see if she pops. If so, it's fuel related. My 642 has a fuel shutoff on the fuel line as well as the carb. Both need voltage to run. Not sure about the Mitsubishi, but either can cause a no start. Let me know if that helps.
