Alright guys, so I posted this a month or so ago: https://www.skidsteerforum.com/threads/2022-259d3.117878/
While the 259D3 was in transit, my dealer let me demo a 289D3. The 289D3 has under 40 hours on it. (like 36). Pretty clean. No scratches or anything like that on it. It has the poly door with a little scuff in the upper middle of it. My biggest issue with it is the left track has a tear on the inside. (see pictures)
If I go with the 289D3, I owe roughly 3K. If I go with the 259D3 I'll get a check back for about 9K. The 259D3 comes with the Hydraulic Override switch so I can operate hydraulics outside the cab, which I need. The 289D3 would need it installed. I am really liking the 289D3 but the whole point of getting rid of my 333G was to downsize a bit so I could get into some smaller spaces. The 289D3 doesn't feel much smaller frame wise.
Torn on what to do. The little that I have driven the 289D3 it's an insanely smooth machine.
What would you do?
