I posted this in the Bobcat forum by mistake. Admin, please remove that post...Thank you. Hello everyone, heres my problem. Been using my Case loader for over 5 years with no problems. Today I lost all ( almost) lift and tilt. I get just a little bit, enough to make the bucket twitch a little. This happened all of a sudden. Everything was going great then I went to dump a load of dirt and nothing. Im getting no hydraulic hiss like usual, and there is no auxiliary pressure, either. Drive and steering is all normal. I was told it may be sheared splines on the pump under the radiator, but I took it apart and all looks normal there. One thing I did notice when I had the seat out was the pump in there looks like its loosening from the engine, theres some back and forth wear at the top bolt. That probably explains the clacking sound when I kill the engine.....I will tighten that but dont think thats the problem with the tilt and lift functions. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance. Doug

If your drive still works the pump should be working....
I can't see the bolts causing the problem either, but they will need doing up all the same.
Your aux hydraulics are not stuck on some how? linkages are all free to the control block?
How new is it? does it have any electric safety solenoids to lock you out of functions? newer machines do, and when they don't work, lift/tilt won't work.
I guess there is always a possibility that the pump is at fault. How easy is it to remove and rotate it by hand to make sure it's moving as it should and not have a broken shaft.

Yes, all controls are working properly, I followed them back. Sometimes the aux valve would stick open because the control rod from the foot pedal to the valve is gone, I usually just put it in the center detent with a screwdriver and go back to digging. When that would happen I would know because the motor would pull down and I would hear the hydraulics hissing. It doesnt do that anymore. The Case is a 1994 I think. I am not sure about the solenoids. I wouldnt know where to look to find them or how to test them. But that sure is a possibility. When I took the pump off, I could turn it by hand fairly easily.
