Not really meaning to bring up an old post but what was the broken wire you fixed going to? The solenoid valve? I have a 40XT that I was using yesterday with no issues then all of a sudden lost my right side steering control. No forward or reverse. The left side works fine. This happened to me a few years ago and the mechanic I took it to finally figured out it was an electrical issue but never told me exactly what he did and he's gone now.
