Hello all, just found this forum, hope someone can help. I have a 2001 773 with 1585 hrs., just recently experienced a hydraulic charge pressure trouble light. When the ignition is turned to "on" the hydraulic charge pressure light blinks continuously, when the engine is started the light will block a few times and then stop blinking, as long as the engine is at idle speed or slightly above idle, if the engine is operated at an elevated R.P.M the engine oil pressure light activated and after a few seconds the engine will shut off. I installed a temporary oil pressure gauge and at a warm idle it reads 53 p.s.i.. The engine has fresh oil and filter and the hydraulic system is full with a new filter. In addition the engine oil pressure sensor is new also the hydraulic charge pressure sensor is new. Can anyone give me some input on this problem? I have owned this machine for 12 - 15 years and I just use it on my property.
Thanx,
Tom

Ok could you press the light button on the LH side panel for 3 seconds when the issues accrues. It should give you a code or several. Look like this: 09-09

Hello, I followed your suggestion, and the error code "02-16" displayed.
Thanx,
Tom
Ok, 02-16 means Hydraulic Implement Filter Not Connected. So check where your Main Hydraulic Filter is, there should be a pressure switch with two blue wires, check these with light tugging on it, probably one is damaged or so. Maybe the connector came loose.

Fortworth cowboy, the problem was just as you described, one of the wires was severed. I want to thank you again for taking the time to help me out! MUCH appreciated.
Tom
