When I bought my new governor ( hoof distributor and industrial engines) all they could come up was this, it has an extra nipple on it but I don't see it as a problem. I don't understand your room limitations.
The elect. solenoid is to keep the motor compartment from filling with gas in the event of a stuck float. It wont hurt the pump as the pump is after the solenoid.
I don't really keep track of my time spent as I do it in between things,the turning drilling & welding goes fast sometimes looking for the right piece of steel takes more time the building the part. I figure my time is mine to spend (as long as she lets me) plus this is fun right???
Update, heres the finished tube and swinging mount also the start of the frame. All I have left to do with the drive is to cut the teeth in the coupler (problem we don't have the right cutter) so Ill have to rent one or have it broached either way its $100.
I for one could have any bobcat my hart desires just like my pickup, however I like Manuel leavers with no solenoid valves no joy sticks no touch ignition. My truck rattle old Manuel 12v Cummins with no computer and no electronics to worry about. Just think how little these newer machines will...
