I am putting a hydraulic splitter in my aux lines to operate a bobtach cylinder. I was wanting to know if I could go into the wiring for the left hand switches to operate the solenoid. I will just be using the switches with relays and will add separate power to operate. Is this possible or am I...
Just wanted to know if anyone had ever rebuilt a fan drive on a 763? Is it a hard job to do? It sounds like my bearings had gone bad in mine from the noise it is making. It had 85w oil In gear box but I think it has still gone bad.
I am going to install a hydraulic splitter in the aux line to have a second outlet to use for a cylinder to work the latch on bobtach. I was just wondering if someone just off the top of their head knew the flare nut fitting size. TIA
I know that the forum has to have ads to be able to exist. In the past they were small and not a big problem. Lately they have gotten so large and so many that it is hard to read the forum articles. For instance the Tide ad is so large and almost impossible to delete it. Is there any way to go...
Well I got the front bearings and seals replaced. I was not too bad of a job I learned a lot that will help if I have to do it again. First I would buy a 1&1/8 ratchet box end. I hope to rears don’t start leaking cause they look like they are harder to do. Thanks for advice on keeping it full.
Do the axel seals need to be replaced at a certain amount of used time or time in years. I have a 763 which is 24 yrs old I’ve owned for five yrs. The seals did not leak and the within a few months two of them started leaking. It has about 2000 hrs on it and I’m replacing bearing and seals since...
On my 763g when I raise the front wheels off the ground there is about a quarter of an inch slack when you push and pull the wheel. Is this normal or do I have problems. Just recently the front seal have started weeping fluid. Are the bearings bad or is there a nut on inside that might have...
Was wanting to know how big of a job it is to replace the front axle seals on a Bobcat 763. I am pretty well mechanically incline and work on my equipment on my farm. TIA
I wanting to get suggestion on good 10x16.5 tires. I need some that are 10 inches wide so my tracks will fit on them. A lot of sellers say they are 10 wide but are only 9.25 and my tracks try to come off on when sideways on hills. Looking for a tread similar to a R4. Thanks for your help.
My bobcat is lowering the lift arms when you start to lift. I have been told that control valve o rings could be bad. I am very mechanically inclined but want to know if this is a difficult job that I should attempt. Thanks in advance for your help.
Has anyone ever bolted a winch on a bobcat? I have been working in an area that has very loose soil and sometimes cannot even push myself out with the bucket. I end up getting the tractor to pull myself out. Was wondering if anyone had ever mounted an electric winch on a skid steer to help pull...
I use my 763 to unload round bales to put in the barn. My bales weigh about 1000 pounds so handles them well. Much faster than with a tractor. Have not used it on the 1500 pound bales though. Going to build a attachment to squeeze the bales to make stacking easier.
