never heard of pins breaking. after welding I hung the plate by the pins only and it pivots by hand with no binding. That was dry with no grease yet. Hope it stays together.

    bobtach overhaul

Just rebuilt my bobtach on my 753. Talk about a lot of work. Never did get the locking pins to move. Lots of penetrating oil and a rosebud with a BFH didn't work. Cut them out and used sch 80 1 1/4 pipe for sleeves. Put replacement sockets in the plate and arms. Didn't have the money to get the...

    correct ignition switch

Thought I would share my latest nightmare. I have a 1996 753 and am new to bobcats. After repairs I went to start the machine and the key wouldn't turn. No problem. I went to the local auto parts and grabbed a universal switch. Had problems with the lift and tilt working. Found out that the...

    753 drive motor

There not loose when put together. was trying to keep them in the same spots but they decided otherwise. I think the timing thing is getting the notch in the right place. some of my backup rings are in several pieces. between the pump and these motors I'm getting a pretty good education.

    753 drive motor

I have a 1996 753. Both my motors are bad. I pulled them off and inspected them. on the bottom of the pump is 3 orings with plastic covers. My center orings were just little granules like coffee grinds. the center oring on 1 motor was missing and the plastic cover was in several chunks. Does...

V2203 di swap bobcat 763 what's involved is it worth it?

my stop solenoid was missing. my throttle linkage mounts on the same bracket so that's why I went that route. I didn't want to bend the injector lines. Got it running and it sounds good. I ground out the hole in the valve cover and used a rubber push in cap. The cap on the tube from the idi will...

    753 carrier swap

well it runs. using a governor spring for a S130. The new intake works also. I tried to use the old orings on the front cover. no oil pressure because one didn't seal. since oil pressure uses a idiot light I'm using a Chevrolet sending unit. chevy is $5 bobcat is $60. Its just a low pressure on...

V2203 di swap bobcat 763 what's involved is it worth it?

The arm behind the stop lever is different my idi has a slot for the spring and carrier has a hole I don't have it running yet but I used a spring for a S130 bobcat. I used my idi front cover so my stop solenoid and throttle would hook up the same. The carrier DI stop solenoid is carrier...

    753 carrier swap

Don't believe the story about swapping the oil pan and flywheel and your good to go. It will run like that . I have the pan swapped, exhaust manifold and front gear case/cover. swapped the throttle lever on top of the pump. To use the original throttle setup required the front cover change. hope...

    hydrastatic drive pump

May need the valve plates. Loader parts source shows 6669400 and 6669401 (left and right) for all 753 at $177 each. Bobcat stealer breaks it down by serial number. They show 6666290 and 6666291 at $335 each. Does anybody know if these numbers will interchange. They sanded out nicely but there is...

    753 drives

Don't know how much you can sand off but I will find out soon. loader parts source only shows a 6669400 and 6669401 part that's a $177 dollars each. Its the only part they show for a 753. Bobcat says I need a 6666290 and6666291 part that's $335 each. They don't know if the parts interchange...
