Good morning, Any chance you could enlighten us with the snap ring repair? I’m preparing to remachine the groove on mine and would like to know your fix before I go too far. Thanks Chris
If everything is working as it should, is there any reason why my M610 shouldn’t work just fine? I would expect the hydraulics to be slow, but still function. I am having a terrible time with my M610 Hydraulic issues I just can’t figure out. Thought my hydraulic pump was bad, replaced it and...
Found this thread searching for hydraulic drive couplers on 610’s. I broke one of my halves when installing a new pump and getting the .025” shim spacing right. I saw in this post that you replaced all of the hydraulic couplers on you 610’s with Lovejoy couplers. Has that held up well for you? I...
I do understand how it assembles, my concern is with the shimming that is required. Based on reading other forums, if you don’t shim exactly to .025” the joint will fail? Can it be more than .025” slightly? Say .050”?
I have gone completely through my hydraulic system. This started when my hydraulics were intermittent and very jumpy. Started with hydraulic filter replacement. And new hydraulic fluid. That led to the control valve removal and fixing the stuck auxiliary spool. I reassembled everything, had a...
I pulled the control valve assembly out and sprayed wd40 inside, outside and everywhere. I was able to get everything loosened up and moving (spools). I used compressed air to blow it out when actuating the spools. Reassembled everything. Skid is running now and I can actuate the middle pedal...
Status update: Without hydraulics I jacked up the front of the skid and put 6” blocks under the wheels. I disassembled from the top (seat, seat pan, alternator, battery, low pressure return hose) and found that the tapered fitting on the outlet side of the filter base was still loose (WTH). So I...
One thing led to another and I had to pull the control valve assembly to free up the auxiliary hydraulics. I put everything back together and nothing actuates. I do have a leak and it looks like it is coming from one of the connections near the filter housing. If the hydraulics aren’t working...
Good morning, I own an M610. The auxiliary hydraulic lines at the front have seen better days and need to be remade. The lines were just dangling in the breeze at the quick disconnect end. Since I am getting new hard lines made from scratch, can anyone recommend the correct location for the...
So I gave it a rap or two and it looked like it was moving, so I hooked the pedal up and tried to actuate it. The pin was so rusted and corroded that it sheared. I need to remove the entire control valve assembly to get in there and rework it. What should I be on the lookout for?
