Hi guys, thanks for the replies, so a little update after i changed the diesel and ran it for a good hour it seemed to run okay then outta nowhere the bolts securing the muffler to the manifold both snapped so ive had to tap them out and put some grade 6 bolts in then the very next day my...
hello everyone, looking to get some help/suggestions from anyone who has some experience with this model.. its a 443 powered by a kubota d750, a few days ago it started blowing a bit of blue smoke, nothing major so i didnt think much of it as its an old machine. then it just lost power and died...
right drive motor i mean* i have lifted the rops while the engine was running to check where it was coming from even operated everything slightly and couldnt see anything, so my guess is it only does it when its under load ..
merry christmas to everybody in SSF.. 443 has been good to me lately til now ive sprung a leak in the control valve somewhere... at first i thought it was the case drain line under the block so i removed it from the right drive pump and checked it, it looked ok.. so i suspect its coming from the...
so pretty much as the title states. i put the key in to warm up the glow plugs but it doesnt seem to even turn on however the battery is new, i was having trouble starting it with the key but it would always turn on (preheat) but now it doesnt at all i know the starter relay is probably done for...
so today i decided to double check the glow plugs again and i started with the first one took it out n hooked it up to batt.. turned a nice cherry red and there was diesel on the plug once i took it out.. however when i put the plug back in seeing how u have a good view of #1 plug i noticed it...
ive had the skid for year now it was running fine up til i ran the fuel out, and at the same time the harness broke so i cant determine which one it is, unless it was just pure fluke that something else happened to fail as well...
yeah i know all about the fuel shut off switch, its in run position no problems with it. there is no solenoid mounted anywhere by the injector pump... confusing as heck !
alright thanks i will have a look tmr im skeptical though in the manual it says its mounted next to the fuel primer or fuel shut off switch.. in btwn both actually.. but i see nothing there but lines. if its exhausting black smoke does that mean its getting fuel?
so i checked by my fuel tank which is where the solenoid should be mounted, as suspected i dont have one. also i am not 100% sure if my glow plugs are even working. if my exhaust smoke is black does that mean its expelling unburnt fuel? smells like it... could my relay be broken ? the wire...
did you try put it to WOT and see if the pulley is still spinning? its on tight enough to spin while idling maybe but when on WOT it might be just the shaft spinning around the pulley ? my 443 hydraulics hardly work on idle.. long shot but maybe?
possibly some worn tilt cylinder seals... if u dont notice any leaks in the engine compartment it could be drawing air in from there but maybe you just need to bleed it out.. lift ur boom up 3' and let it drift overnight itll bleed the air out of the system if thats the case but then again air...
