I got a LS 180b yesterday and put my grapple on today, with the hoses one way it would do nothing, with the hoses switched it would open but would not close. what might this be?
I assume it has buttons for the aux hydraulic controls?
Its either a bad switch or a bad coil/stem on your control block.
A lot of the time, they are never used, so they stick. If you pull the stem apart you can some times clean it and it will work just fine.
Sounds like you have a bad coupler. Disconnect the couplers to the grapple and move the aux handle both ways with the engine running. If you hear the engine labor when you move the aux handle you are getting pressure to the couplers. Look at the couplers on the hose that closes the grapple.
