Hello all, i have a 1999ish new holland 865 lx skidsteer and it just quit moving. it runs just fine in service other than the parking brake light(never worked), a piston looking light that says stop in it, seatbelt light, and a gear with an oil drop in it and arrows pointing at it. If i leave it in run mode it starts to beep in about 10 seconds and then cuts off and the display says err2. There are no blown fuses and i think the saftys are disabled because the 4 in 1 bucket and boom works fine. It makes no noises or anything and runs fine in service mode. thanks in advance for any help

I dont have my books in front of me right now to tell you what the lights mean. Does the machine start normally in the run mode? Its not uncommon to get an error when switching from service to run mode with the machine on. Also, did you check the hydraulic oil level in the tank?

it will start fine in either position, i have no manual either so i don't know what the code means. It was doing fine in service for about a month so i dont think it is a wiring issue, it has plenty of all fluids, thanks.

on mine the err o2 is fuel solenoid, the cause of the shutdown if your oil level is ok is probably bad pressure sensor. mine is by the oil filter. unplug it and see if anything changes. they are kind of known for sensors going bad around here.

Would the oil sensor stop the machine from allowing the hydraulics to work? BTW the chains have not fallen off or have I herd any grinding noises.
